We were all tremendously sad to hear the news that our Queen & longest reigning monarch died on Thursday 8th September 2022. We are incredibly proud to know she knew of our existence after granting us a "Royal seal of approval" in March 2019. We also were lucky to receive three letters from her majesty which we will treasure. These letters, along with many others are on show for all to see on our Royal Correspondence wall in our tearoom.

We were overwhelmed with the support to our independent and visitors travelling from afar to sign our book of condolence in the run up to the Queens state funeral on Monday 19th September. The cards and book will be sent to members of the Royal Family and we shall of course update you all with any responses we receive.
